Producers' Village

The Producers’ Village will be packed with small high quality producers who specialise in artisan, local and seasonal produce.  The area includes pavilions dedicated to Slow Food UK where you will find producers of good, clean and fair food and drink and selected quality producers at Henrietta Green’s popular FoodLoversBritain.com Fair.  Visit the exhibitor listings pages for details of all the wonderful producers you’ll be able to find at the show this year.

Slow Food UK

Slow Food UKWe are proud to have a partnership with Slow Food UK, the international movement that believes that food is a common language and that good, clean and fair food is a universal right.  Taste and learn about the provenance of speciality foods by exploring the Slow Food Pavilion at the show.  The Slow Food Team will also be there to answer any questions about the Slow Food Movement and will tell you how to get involved both nationally and in your local area.

     The Great Taste Awards

The Great Taste awards will return this year with their fabulous Tasting Theatre and Pavilion of Great Taste Gold Award Winners.  Bob Farrand and the team from the Guild of Fine Food present a range of products for you to taste – he will teach you how to taste the product and identify the reasons why it deserved to win gold!  This is a free feature at the show, so make sure you get there early to get a seat and ensure you get to ‘taste the difference’ of the award wining food.

FoodLoversBritain.com

FoodLovers BritainHenrietta Green’s FoodLoversBritain.com Fair is where you will find the best of local and regional food and drink producers – look out for the green and white striped canopies within the Producers’ Village at the show.  You may also bump into Henrietta or one of her team on their stand too!

Producers Bursary Awards

MasterChef Live is on the hunt for Britain’s best small producers!

We are delighted to be able to launch a national campaign to reward producers of excellent 'Good Food’ in 2010.  The Producers Bursary Awards will enable us to:

  • Reward those who have a true passion for their produce and made a real contribution to the industry
  • Provide producers who have a true passion for their produce and make a real contribution to the industry
  • Introduce our visitors to more of the producers representing good food and drink in Britain and celebrate the variety and glory of great British producers

Can you help us?

Please email katy.truss@haymarket.com if you would like to suggest one of your favourite small producers to be awarded a stand within MasterChef Live.
