PRESS RELEASE
To celebrate Chocolate Week (12-18 Oct) the team at MasterChef Live have created a tasty treat. Emily Phillips, part of the MasterChef Live team, has made a delicious chocolate bar bearing the MasterChef logo. On Thursday 15th October Emily will be personally delivering the tasty treats to DJ’s at London Radio stations to highlight the forthcoming MasterChef Live event which will be held at Olympia from 13-15 November.
MasterChef Live will feature key elements from the TV programme, giving visitors the unique opportunity to have-a-go in interactive workshops, watch theatre sessions hosted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace; see past winners demo live; taste winning dishes in the MasterChef Restaurant and more.
To follow on the chocolate theme at MasterChef Live The Chocolate Chef and Kernow Confectionary will be exhibiting a fine selection of handmade chocolates to purchase.
MasterChef Live brings the TV programme to life via the recreation of key, recognisable elements. In The Invention Test 30 visitors per session will have an unprecedented chance to take on the MasterChef challenge, with John Torode and Gregg Wallace deciding a victor. The Cookery Experience, sponsored by Sainsbury’s, will see MasterChef Cook-Off sessions with previous contestants pitted against each other. MasterChef ‘Hot Tips’ pods around the show will offer expert advice on becoming a MasterChef in your own kitchen, and visitors can also visit the MasterChef Theatre with winners from the TV programmes recreating their signature dishes, and answering questions. The MasterChef MasterClass is an interactive workshop where visitors will learn skills from canapes to sushi making directly from masters of their field. The immensely popular Restaurant Experience will this year feature the MasterChef Restaurant winners turned professionals, including Thomasina Miers.
The hugely popular Cookery Experience sponsored by Sainsbury’s, will showcase an unrivalled selection of top chefs including James Martin, who will be guaranteed to educate and entertain the crowds.
The show will also contain many visitors’ favourites including 100s of top food and drink exhibitors, one of London’s biggest farmers markets, the Slow Food Pavilion and FoodLoversBritain.com Fair plus educational workshops from Slow Food to take part in.
